Some of the longterm work in trying to cooperate with God’s work at a deep level is to create a shrine for the first class relic of St Philomena at the St. Philomena property where people can come to venerate her relic, to receive her intercession, to honor her and to allow her to obtain from God an abundance of graces just as she did in the village of Ars with the Cure d’Ars and in many other places.

We’d like to create a very nice outdoor shrine of stone and a pavilion to surround it, partly to protect it but also so that families can come in large numbers and have retreats and gatherings.

God has the perfect plan of how He wants to act in hearts and souls throughout the world; He wants to create great heroes for the faith and wonderful families. The key is to say, ‘I don’t want to do my plans, even my good plans that I think God might like, but I want to really cooperate with God’s work.’ St Philomena is one of those saints that God chose in a spectacular way through the abundance of miracles to say ‘This is a saint that nobody knew anything about for centuries, that I really want you to turn to now; I want you to know her, I want you to receive her intercession.’ And that has happened through her relics in a very particular way.

We have the tremendous blessing of having a first class relic of St Philomena. Father Pillari has sensed that she is one of the key saints that God has for the work of Ave Philomena, Regina Angelorum Press and for his priesthood. We believe that she wants to obtain from God an abundance of graces and help people have much more faith in the all powerful action of God.

This is at the heart of this appeal – to at last get her relic out there where people can really venerate her and then allow God to work as He wishes to work through her. Once it’s there in stone, people will be able to come, please God, for a very long time to receive the graces that she wants to obtain from God. Thank you for your support to make this a reality.
