The Napa Legal Institute does very good work in proactively helping nonprofits to fully live out their Catholic mission, avoid litigation and avoid having to cave into things that would compromise the Faith.

Now that Father Pillari is a licensed civil lawyer, he is going to be part of their program for new attorneys called the Good Counselor Fellowship. He will join with devout attorneys who want to help defend religious liberty and also deepen their faith, deepen their knowledge of the law, beyond the letter of the law and prepare to defend the Faith well, by means of the law. It’s not the most important aspect of Father Pillari’s work as a priest, but in today’s environment it’s an extremely important battle.

In Divine Providence, God has permitted Father Pillari, thanks to support from Ave Philomena Inc., to be able to complete the law degree, pass the bar exam and now to be part of the battle for religious freedom.
